Mission

David Jones Pharmacy Online was conceived on the key principle of delivering the best prices possible by leveraging the existing pharmacy wholesaling structure efficiently.

History (Since 1916)

On 4 July 1916, Perry's Pharmacy was opened on 448 Neerim Road Murrumbeena Victoria 3163 by Wm. B. Perry, son of Francis John Perry. The Perry family has always had a pharmacist actively engaged in the profession since 1878 except for during war periods. Many of the pharmacies located within the catchment of the City of Glen Eira were also opened by the Perry Family, including pharmacies in Carnegie, Hughesdale and Ormond.

Around the period of December 1973 to January 1974, the pharmacy in Neerim Road was sold to David S. Jones and subsequentially renamed David Jones Pharmacy.

Mr David S. Jones had studied at the College of Pharmacy in Victoria in 1947 and completed a highly successful course. He won the second H.T. Tompsitt Scholarship in his second year and was nominated for the Nicolas Bursary, which took him through the Fellowship course, in which he gained distinction in Chemistry and the Analysis of Drugs and the History of Pharmacy, and a pass in Bacteriology (The Australasian JOURNAL OF PHARMACY, January 1952).

In April 2013 David Jones Pharmacy Online was successfully launched.
