Your consumer rights

Our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If a product is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet a stated purpose, you are entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement, or refund — and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

How we operate

  1. In these Terms and Conditions, "We", "Our" or "Us" means David Jones Pharmacy Online; and "You" or "Your" means the person placing an order on this Website.
  2. By placing an order, You accept these Terms and Conditions. Together with your order, they form the entire agreement between us for the supply of products.
  3. We update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after publication. The Terms in force when you place your order govern that order.
  4. No employee or agent of David Jones Pharmacy Online has authority to vary these Terms except as expressly set out in writing or by email.

Products and pricing

  1. We supply the latest batch of products available to us with the longest expiry dates reasonably possible. Where a manufacturer changes product packaging, size, or formulation, we may supply the latest or previous version. This does not affect the product's quality, fitness for purpose, or your consumer guarantees.
  2. Website images are for representation only. The actual product may differ in appearance.
  3. If you need a specific version shown in an image, contact us before purchasing to confirm stock.
  4. Product expiry dates are generally the latest batch available. Due to supplier lead times, we guarantee a minimum of three months from dispatch, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
  5. Promotional prices and periods are subject to change without notice.

Ordering

  1. Orders are processed automatically once payment is made. Stock is immediately allocated for packing and dispatch.
  2. We cannot cancel or alter an order after payment has been processed.
  3. Please double-check all order details before making payment:
    • Products and quantities
    • Delivery address and method
    • Email address for confirmation
    Any error in these details is the responsibility of the customer at checkout. Our system does not alter order information.

Delivery

  1. We dispatch orders with tracking as quickly as possible. You receive a dispatch notification by email.
  2. All orders are sent with Signature Required unless you select otherwise. You must actively monitor your tracking to ensure timely receipt.
  3. Title and risk in products pass to you at the point of delivery (or at despatch for international orders).
  4. Once a parcel is scanned as delivered by the courier or signed for, responsibility for receipt transfers to you.
  5. We are not responsible for breakages of product seals or leaks during delivery. For damage in transit, contact the courier with your tracking number.
  6. Delivery timeframes provided by us are estimates only. We are not liable if a parcel is delayed due to courier service, weather, or external factors.
  7. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address and the parcel is returned to us, you will be charged a Return To Sender fee and re-shipping costs. We will contact you within 5 business days to arrange re-delivery or dispose of the order if you do not respond.
  8. For Click & Collect orders, you must collect within 21 days of the despatch notice. If uncollected, we may dispose of the order at our discretion.

Returns and refunds

  1. If we have supplied you with an incorrect product, we will pay for its return. The product must be returned unopened and unused within 21 days of receipt.
  2. We do not accept change-of-mind returns or cancellations. However, this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
  3. If you believe a product is faulty or not of acceptable quality, contact us with details and photos. We will assess the claim and provide a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if the claim is substantiated.
  4. For practitioner-only or scheduled products requiring a consultation, if you are not contactable by phone or email, the product value will be credited to your account for future purchase. No cash refunds will be issued.

International orders

  1. Products requiring a prescription in Australia cannot be shipped internationally.
  2. For international deliveries, title and risk pass to you at the point of despatch. Customs may open, inspect, damage, or reject packages; we are not responsible for customs handling or delays.
  3. International delivery timeframes and costs are estimates only. We are not liable for delays due to customs clearance, weather, or courier issues.
  4. If an international order is undeliverable, we will refund the product cost in Australian Dollars. We are not liable for currency fluctuations between the time of order and refund.

Information disclaimer

  1. All information on this Website is for informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  2. The information provided is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your pharmacist, doctor, or qualified health practitioner before starting or changing any medication or treatment.
  3. You are responsible for how you use any information on this site. We are not liable for any outcome resulting from its use.

Liability

  1. We do not guarantee the absence of adverse reactions to any products we supply.
  2. We reserve the right to cancel your order without prior notice if we reasonably believe it is necessary to do so (e.g., suspected fraud, breach of these Terms, or legal obligation). Where we cancel and you have paid, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.
