ChinaMed Nourish the Blood Formula 78c

This formula was first recorded in the 'Formulary of the Tai Ping Welfare Dispensary Bureau' (tai ping hui min he ji ju fang). It was originally prescribed for Liver Blood deficiency; however, it has since come to be used as the basis for prescriptions that treat generalized Blood deficiency as well as a broad range of disorders related to the state of the Blood. It is commonly used for a variety of gynaecological disorders due to Blood deficiency. In addition, this formula may also be used for chronic diseases due to Wind (e.g.

Indications (as stated by the manufacturer)

• Menstrual disorders due to Blood deficiency, post-partum disorders, anaemia, urticaria, headache, insufficient lactation, chronic dry skin and eyes, slow healing skin lesions, chronic eczema or chronic dermatitis.

Directions for use

Adult:
Take 3 capsules, 2 times daily one hour away from food or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings

• Caution for those on anti-coagulant medications (i.e. Heparin, warfarin or aspirin).
• Caution during the first trimester of pregnancy.
• If taking antibiotics, allow at least 90 minutes before taking this formula.
