Cloves are the dried flower buds of a tree belonging to the myrtle family. These certified organic cloves can be used to flavour stocks and sauces, and are also great in preserves or pickles. Cloves also add a wonderful flavour to ham if pressed into the scored skin before baking, or when added to syrups when poaching fruit.
