Ingredients
Active ingredient per effervescent tablet: Aspirin 324mg. Other ingredients include sodium bicarbonate and citric acid in an effervescent base. Lemon-lime flavoured.
Directions for use
Adults: Dissolve 2 tablets in a glass of water every 4 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Wait until the tablet has fully dissolved before drinking. Use the smallest effective dose for the shortest duration required.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Warnings and important information
- Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
- Do not use if you have a stomach ulcer, history of heart failure, or are allergic to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
- Do not use during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless advised by a doctor; do not use at all in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- Do not use in children under 12 years.
- Do not give to children aged 12 to 16 years who have or are recovering from chicken pox, influenza or fever (risk of Reye's syndrome).
- Limit use to a few days at a time unless directed by your healthcare practitioner.
