LS-946 is a bad design
By: Michael MOLZER on 30 March 2020Firstly let me say that buying through David Jones Pharmacy was a great and this product is not a reflection on their credibility in any way. I will be buying another brand of Blood Glucose & Ketone Meter from them. OK.. The LifeSmart 2TwoPlus Blood Glucose & Ketone Meter LS-946 is a piece of crap, and an expensive piece of crap at that. It will only measure every fourth or more attempt burning through test strips in the process. Constantly throws up an E-U code with brand new strips. (An E-U error means that the meter thinks the strip it's measuring has already been used. Typically this just means the strip has blood placed on it before it was placed in the meter and thus reads the strip as used.) I've had it replaced by LifeSmart (Genesis Biotech Pty Ltd. QLD, AUSTRALIA) and this one is as useless as the one it replaced. LifeSmart (Genesis Biotech) are slow and hopeless at responding to warranty claims I had to pursue them.. In Short... buy something else!
