Contains traditional herbs for: Relief of digestive discomfort. Stimulation of digestive secretions. Digestive motility. Clinical benefits: Digestex provides digestive support with traditional western herbs to relieve symptoms such as bloating and stomach discomfort. Meadowsweet, traditionally used to soothe and protect the gastrointestinal tract is combined with carminative and anti-spasmodic herbs to help relieve intestinal spasm by relaxing intestinal muscles. Stimulation of digestive secretions with bitter herbs such as dandelion and gentian.

Indications (as stated by the manufacturer)

• Digestex provides digestive support with traditional western herbs to relieve symptoms such as bloating and stomach discomfort.
• Meadowsweet, traditionally used to soothe and protect the gastrointestinal tract is combined with carminative and anti-spasmodic herbs to help relieve intestinal spasm by relaxing intestinal muscles.
• Stimulation of digestive secretions with bitter herbs such as dandelion and gentian.
• Gentian has traditionally been given orally to increase saliva, gastric and bile secretions.
• Bitter herbs do not need to be tasted to stimulate upper digestive function as they activate taste receptors (TASR2) located throughout the gastrointestinal tract.
• Ginger stimulates antral contractions, reduces postprandial antral area and accelerates gastric emptying.

Directions for use
