Herbs in NeuroCalm have been shown to or traditionally used for: Patients feeling anxious and tense. Exert anxiolytic effects during times of stress. Modulate GABA and neurotransmitter pathways. Clinical benefits: Passionflower, in traditional Western medicine, is used for tension, anxiety, irritability and insomnia. Zizyphus and Magnolia have been shown to modulate neurotransmitter activity via receptor site binding. Interactions have been demonstrated between these herbs and adenosine, dopamine, serotonin and GABA benzodiazepine receptors.

Indications (as stated by the manufacturer)

• Passionflower, in traditional Western medicine, is used for tension, anxiety, irritability and insomnia.
• Zizyphus and Magnolia have been shown to modulate neurotransmitter activity via receptor site binding. Interactions have been demonstrated between these herbs and adenosine, dopamine, serotonin and GABA benzodiazepine receptors.
• NeuroCalm may encourage balance between the excitatory effects of glutamate and the calmative effects of GABA.

• equiv. fruit dry — 3 g
• Pueraria lobata (Kudzu/Arrow Root) root extract — 80 mg
• equiv. root dry — 2 g
• Magnolia officinalis (Magnolia) stem bark extract — 300 mg
• equiv. stem bark dry — 1.5 g
• Passiflora incarnata (Passionflower) herb extract — 236 mg
• equiv. herb dry — 1.3 g Free from animal products, dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, wheat, nuts, yeast, soy protein, starches and salt. Free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.

Directions for use

Adults:
Take 1 tablet three times daily.
