Chlorella is an ancient single-celled freshwater micro-algae that contains chlorophyll and many other useful phytonutrients. It is one of the most powerful cleansing and detoxifying foods in the world. Packed with vitamins and minerals, this superfood is rich in antioxidants and may also act as a healing and anti-inflammatory agent.

Chlorella is most commonly used as a nutritional supplement. Being rich in carotenoids and chlorophyll, Chlorella contains Vitamins A, all the B's, C and E, and unlike synthetic forms found in multi-vitamin supplements – are in their natural form. Vitamins are however just the start, Chlorella is packed with minerals including potassium, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium contains around 55% complete balanced protein.

Ingredients

Yaeyama Chlorella 99.5%, tricalcium phosphate 0.5%

Suggested Usage: 
Start-up: 3 tablets (half serve = 1.5g) daily, for the first week
Maintenance: 6 tablets (one serve = 3g) daily
Optimal: 12-18 tablets daily

Take between meals and drink 1-2 litres of pure water daily

Caution

Chlorella is a powerful detoxifier. When starting to take chlorella, always take a smaller amount for the first week, with an adequate intake of pure water. There is a potential that some new users may not tolerate chlorella. In the event that you experience nausea or an upset stomach while taking chlorella - reduce the amount you are taking or stop taking chlorella completely and seek advice from your healthcare practitioner. Always consult your healthcare practitioner if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medications prior to taking this product.

While it only affest a small percentage of people, allergic reactions can occur in the form of vomiting after taking chlorella. For this reason, it is suggested that individuals start with a small serve and being cautious on day one and during the first week or so. If you experience this reaction, discontinue the use of chlorella immediately. If the vomiting is severe and/or prolonged, seek medical help to avoid dehydration.
