Perrigo Iodine 1% in Alcohol 70% 100ml

For use on unbroken skin as a pre-operative treatment.

Not to be consumed orally/do not swallow. Solutions containing iodine when applied to the skin should not be covered with occlusive dressings. If rash or any form of skin irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately. Flammable liquid, do not use near naked flame.

Topically applied iodine may cause skin reactions, varying from mild erytheme and acneform eruptions to urticaria and suppurative haemorrhagic rashes. Allergic reactions may develop; goitre and exacerbation of acne may occur in children and adolescents. Inhalation of iodine vapour irritates mucous membranes.
