The Omnipod DASH system is a tubeless, wearable insulin pump platform that combines a small adhesive Pod (worn on the body) with a separate handheld Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM). Each Pod holds up to 200 units of U-100 rapid-acting insulin and delivers basal and bolus doses subcutaneously over up to 72 hours, after which the Pod is removed and replaced. Ingredients

Each Pod is a single-use, sterile insulin reservoir and cannula assembly. Pods are filled by the user with a prescribed U-100 rapid-acting insulin (e.g. NovoRapid / Fiasp / Humalog / Lyumjev) at the time of placement. The Pod includes a soft cannula for subcutaneous insulin delivery and an automatic insertion mechanism. Sterile packaging — single use only.

Directions for use

Pods are intended for use by people with diabetes who have been trained on the Omnipod DASH system by a credentialled diabetes educator or healthcare professional. Standard practice: prepare a new Pod by filling with prescribed insulin via the included fill syringe, apply the Pod to a clean, dry skin site that has been rotated from previous Pod sites, allow the automatic cannula insertion, pair with the Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM) and confirm basal/bolus program. Replace the Pod after 72 hours or sooner if the PDM signals occlusion, expired insulin, low reservoir, or accidental detachment.
